I recommend avoiding heavy meals right before the session, finding a quiet space to lie down or sit comfortably, and having a journal, a pen, water or tea, a blanket, and headphones with you.

You don’t need to “do” or “know” anything beforehand, I will explain how everything is going to work before we get started and your breath will meet you exactly where you’re at.

Just come as you are and take what you need ✨

Breathwork is most powerful when we come together with openness and care. This session is a gift to MY community — a chance to breathe, reset, and connect, especially in times of collective change.

Hi, I’m Anna!

Meet your session facilitator

I help brands and individuals do work that serves both personal transformation and collective impact through creative frameworks and embodied practices.

My work was published in The Telegraph, Metro, ELLE, The Independent, Glamour, InStyle, Stylist, Refinery29, Teen Vogue, Grazia, SELF, Fodor’s, Well + Good, and many more. On Substack, I write honest dispatches on creativity, healing, embodied wisdom, and finding your way back home to yourself.

Breathwork transformed my life in ways I wouldn’t have dreamed possible. It gave me tools to release old patterns and limiting beliefs that no longer served me and consciously create new ones aligned with my deepest truth.

After completing a 400-hour year-long training with Alchemy of Breath, accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapies, the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, I now offer a compassionate space to help people explore the practices that have helped me and countless others find our way back to our truest selves.

I feel so grateful that breathwork found its way to me.

And if you’re reading this: to you.

  • Yes! I'm certified through the internationally accredited Alchemy of Breath program, and all sessions are carefully guided with proper safety protocols and trauma-informed guidance.

However, please consult your healthcare provider if you have any of the following medical concerns and do let me know before our session, as in some cases, nose breathing may be preferred to open-mouthed techniques:

    • Respiratory problems (asthma, COPD)

    • Cardiovascular problems (heart disease, hypertension, heart attack history)

    • Seizure disorders

    • History of deep vein thrombosis (blood clots)

    • High blood pressure

    • Delicate pregnancy in the first trimester

    • Glaucoma or detached retina

    • Bipolar or schizophrenia

    • Brain or abdomen aneurysm

    • Severe anemia

    • Cancer

    • Arthritis, osteoarthritis or osteoporosis

    • Uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid condition

    • Recent surgeries or physical injuries

  • Yes, there are many different breathwork modalities. I specifically practice and guide conscious connected breathwork, which involves continuous open-mouthed breathing without pauses between inhales and exhales. This particular approach is powerful for accessing altered states of consciousness, releasing stored emotions, and creating profound transformation. Other modalities include Wim Hof, holotropic, rebirthing and box breathing, which can all help with deep emotional, physical, and spiritual integration.

  • Common sensations include:

    • Emotional release (tears, laughter, sounds, movement)

    • Deep relaxation

    • Increased energy, stamina, and organ function

    • Heightened clarity

    • Temporary tingling or numbness in hands/feet (completely normal, it’s caused by changes in CO2 levels/blood pH and will quickly go away on its own)

    • Temporary lightheadedness

    • Temporary dry throat

    • Slight temperature changes

    • Vibrating sensations

    • Visual changes (colors, patterns)

    It’s fun, I promise!

  • Yes! Breathwork helps us shift brainwave states by allowing us to access a state of "transient hypofrontality" — this is where the analytical mind softens and we tap into deeper consciousness, peace, and creativity. It also triggers the release of beneficial neurochemicals like serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin while moving through various brainwave states optimal for transformation.

Additionally, scientific research shows that conscious breathing:

    • Releases 70% of bodily toxins through the lungs

    • Activates the lymphatic system

    • Improves immune function

    • Enhances brain plasticity

    • Regulates the nervous system

  • While transformative shifts can happen in a single session, most clients find the greatest benefit in multiple sessions that allow for deep integration and sustained transformation. Having more than one session will benefit you more, as it provides the time and space needed for lasting change. We can discuss the best approach for your specific goals. Always listen to your body and adjust accordingly!

  • No, they’re always different! While the conscious connected breathing technique forms the foundation of each session, every experience is unique. I tailor each session to your specific needs and intentions. Some sessions may focus more on emotional release, while others might emphasize physical relaxation or spiritual connection. Your body's response will also evolve as you develop your breathwork practice, making each session a new opportunity for discovery and growth.

  • Come as you are, take what you need! You don’t need to “do” or “know” anything, I’ll explain everything before we start and your breath will meet you exactly where you’re at.

    • Come with an open mind

    • Wear comfortable clothing

    • Have water nearby

    • Create a quiet, undisturbed space

    • Avoid heavy meals 2 hours before

    • Bring any questions or specific areas you'd like to explore

  • While meditation often involves quieting the mind through passive observation, breathwork is an active practice that uses specific breathing patterns to create physiological and psychological shifts. Many find breathwork provides faster access to altered states and emotional release than traditional meditation. The two practices complement each other beautifully.

  • Many clients report significant relief from symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma responses through regular breathwork practice. The breath directly affects your nervous system, helping to regulate stress responses and create new neural pathways. While breathwork isn't a replacement for therapy or medical treatment, it can be a powerful complementary tool for emotional wellbeing.

  • Breathwork is not intended as a replacement for professional mental health treatment but rather as a powerful tool to enhance your overall well-being. Many therapists and psychiatrists recommend breathwork as part of an integrated approach to mental and emotional health. Always consult with your healthcare providers about how breathwork can fit into your existing treatment plan.

  • Yes and no! While simple breathing exercises can certainly be practiced independently, having the foundation of professionally guided work is essential for both safety and maximum benefit. I recommend experiencing conscious connected breathwork with a certified guide, as breathwork can bring up deep emotions, stored trauma, and intense physical sensations that require proper support to navigate safely. As your guide, I create a safe container, provide proper technique instruction, and offer support through any intense emotions or sensations that may arise.
